Safety and restraint systems have come along way in recent years and can present some interesting challenges for the technician.
On this training course you’ll gain the fundamental knowledge required to be confident in diagnosing these systems safely and accurately.
The differences between passive and active safety systems and also take a look at some of the latest technology used in accident avoidance and driver assistance systems such as night vision systems and lane departure warning.
You’ll learn about the many different types of sensors fitted to warn of an impending accident and the pyrotechnic devices used including their adaptive deployment strategies.
As with all our training courses we’re very focused on giving you hands on diagnostic skills and you’ll be learning how to assess the various sensors and actuators using scopes, meters and a mix of generic and manufacturer serial diagnostic equipment.
